Bleed requests must be specified on insertion order. Allow for 3/8ŭ safety margin from trim on all sides.  3/16" will be accepted.

Mechanical Specifications:

We strongly recommend that you preflight and collect your file(s) prior to submission using industry-standard preflight software such as Markzwareŭs FlightCheck or CreativeProŭs Preflight Pro. Both of these programs are excellent in assuring that you are submitting properly prepared files.

Quark 3.32/4.04 ~ Adobe Illustrator 8.0 ~ Adobe Photoshop 5.5

Fonts: Use Postscript Type 1 fonts only. Supply suitcases, screen fonts and printer fonts, including embedded fonts

Graphics: EPS and TIFF file formats. No FPEG or LZW compression. 300 dpi for color and grayscale images. 800-1200 dpi for line-work. Images must be CMYK. Total density may not exceed 280%. Allow 1/8ŭ minimum safety on each side of gutter in spreads

Colors: Convert all files to CMYK. NO Pantone colors (will be generated to match).

Line Screen/Density: 4C = 120-133 line screen. B&W and 2C = 120 line screen.
